Flight Lab - Icarians and Whip pops

The main focus is on Icarian Games and Whipops, combining technique, safety and exploration.
For six days, we will train in a supportive and personalized environment, meeting you where you are and helping you move forward step by step, guided by internationally renowned teachers.
The training includes:

We will explore backward and forward rotations, learn how to combine them with twists, and work on different technical variations.
There will also be time for creative exploration, giving space to curiosity, play and the discovery of new tricks and personal possibilities.

Level
Prerequisites :
Whip pops : tarzan throne OR whip 180 OR mortalito
AND
Icarians : castaway OR handspring OR log 180 OR throne to F2F
Technical prerequisites are required, so we can build from a solid foundation.

Food
3 Rich vegan meals per day, made with love.
We will have a professional chef cook but everyone will assist with one helping shift. This will be outside of the workshop times.
Full helpers (people with a helper ticket) will help 2 – 2,5 hours per day.
About the venue
- We will be at the unique Acro Church Venue, a historic church that has been renovated into a space for movement, acrobatics and connection
- The former rectory / house for eating, sleeping and relaxing. It’s located right next to the church, with a cute inside courtyard for having food and relaxing
- The church and garden will be our training spaces. There are 5-6 longes available.
- Training props : training weights, all kinds of handstand blocks, elastic bands, yoga blocks,…
- Sauna to relax the body after a good day of training
- Fireplace
- Beautiful view over the valley is included
Pricing
Early bird : € 450 (first 8 tickets)
Normal bird : € 475 (20 spots available)
Helping bird : € 360 (8 spots available)
Build-up bird : € 395 (3 spots available)
The intensive has a limited number of participants, allowing close attention, safety and high-quality training.
Helpers will be helping around 2 – 2,5 hours per day — tasks include helping out in the kitchen, dishwashing / cleaning, garbage management, etc. We do our best to keep the shifts outside the workshop times!
Build-up team : Help us prep the venue during the 2 days prior to the event. This will include some cleaning, decorating, setting up the event kitchen, etc. You are not expected to do any additional tasks during the event, beyond the standard shift required of all participants.
Sleeping arrangements
In the Rectory :
- Dorms:
1x dorm for 6 people. ( + € 0 / pp / whole event)
1x dorm for 8 people. ( + € 0 / pp / whole event) - Smaller shared rooms
1x 2-person room (+ € 55 / pp / whole event)
1x 2 person dark room (+ € 40 / pp / whole event) (no window, so a very basic room but private)
2x 4-person room ( + € 40 / pp / whole event)
Vanlifers :
- Park your camper right in front of the rectory (we have 8 slots)
Campers:
- Bring your tent or hammock and rest in the beautiful garden around the church. (we have 10 slots) Please note: May can still be a bit fresh, so be prepared for spring-time temperatures.
Refund Policy
We hope everyone can join our acrobatic adventure, but if life flips you sideways:

Deposit refundable minus €30 until 30 days before the start of the event.

After that, refunds are only possible via waiting list replacement.
