Hi Acro Church supporters,

We are organising our 5 th Acro Building Weekend in January!

It will be again a nice mix of getting the Acro Church in a better shape and having a good time together:

The focus points for this ABW is the new house (lots of different tasks) and some gardening. About 4 hours a day : from 9h30-13h30 and the rest of the time is all about jamming, cooking, relaxing, and enjoying each other’s company. If you got further knowledge about certain working fields like carpentry, plastering, electricity, or anything connected with renovating/building things in a house, please let us know further down wo we can find a nice task for you, get the right tools and materials and assign a group of helpers accordingly.

The stay is free, we share the price for the food at the end (more info further down). Just bring your energy and your curiosity!

Already a big thank you for helping us and getting this community space in shape, with just the 2 of us it would be impossible.

Since it might be some travel for some of you, you are more than welcome to stay until Monday.

About the venue:

• 300 square meter rectory for eating, sleeping and relaxing. Wifi is available but playing Board Games together is cooler 😉
• Fully-equipped kitchen.
• We are not in the possibility to heat the church yet this winter but we have a smaller room in the house with 3 meter height for lower acro or as a warmm-up space before going to church for the brave ones. With extra layers it can be doable.
• Sauna

Sleeping arrangements:

• Indoor sleeping spots in the rectory (2 dorms for 8 and 10 people + 3 separate rooms -> makes that in total we have 26 sleeping spots in the rectory)
• If you are a vanlifer and are cold-resistant, park your camper right in front of the rectory (we have 8 slots in front of the Rectory)

Travel logistics:

Hettstedt has a train station at 300 meters and a big bus station at 600 meters from the church’s doorstep.
